The Indianola sisters who started S&B Fitness two years ago are expanding their business and launching Fusion Fitness next month. Molly Sivertsen and Stephanie Becker will open Tuesday, Sept. 2, at their new location at 2205 W. Second Ave. in Indianola. The facility will be available 24 hours a day and seven days a week for members. "We are a full-service gym," Becker said. For the past couple years, the sisters have been teaching fitness classes at the Warren County Administration Building. When the opportunity came to move to their own facility, Sivertsen and Becker jumped at the chance. Advertisement "It's been our dream come true," Sivertsen said. "Our two years had been great, but we had to go with this opportunity." The gym will offer 22 classes a week at various times throughout the day. There will be classes for children as young as 5 years old to senior citizens. Classes will include yoga, pilates, kickboxing and spinning. Along with strength-training equipment, members will have access to treadmills, elliptical machines and spinning bikes. Child care services will be available from 8 to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday and from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The gym will also have staff available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. "We want to make this very family-oriented," Sivertsen said. To celebrate their opening, Fusion Fitness will waive the $25 registration fee for those who join in September. The gym has single, double and family memberships for unlimited fitness classes and use of the exercise equipment. Prices are available online.
